Our Plan

As a solution to tackle St Mary's Catholic School playground pollution problem, we have set out to achieve the following aims.

Living Wall

AIM: We will be designing and installing an urban green living space into our school playground.

Air Purifiers

AIM: We will be trialling and introducing new Air Purification units into our school classrooms.

Ultra Low Emission Zone

AIM: We will be campaigning for the A4 to be included as part of Transport for London's Ultra Low Emission Zone.

What we'll deliver

  • Continue to educate communities and schools of the issues inner city schools face with pollution.
  • Implement a cleaner and greener air scheme in St Mary's playground.
  • Monitor and maintan the green environment, ensuring the pollution levels are kept reduced.
  • Raise £ (TBC) to cover the cost of our proposals.
  • Raise awareness of the pollution problem currently facing St Mary's School.

Funding

We are currently exploring multiple channels in order to raise appropriate funding for our proposals.

Whilst the ideal path would be to raise funding through available grants and government funding, we are also aware that some funds may need to be raised via other means - including local community, sponsors and parents.

More information on this section will follow once we have received final quotes and information regarding each of our proposals.
